The Four Rules
1. ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED.
2. NEVER POINT YOUR MUZZLE AT SOMETHING YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DESTROY.
3. KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET AND YOU ARE READY TO SHOOT.
4. KNOW YOUR TARGET AND WHAT'S BEYOND.
FEAR
"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."
- Bene Gesserit, from Frank Herbert's Dune
Penn Jillette
“F**k Civility. Hyperbole, passion, and metaphor are beautiful parts of rhetoric. The marketplace of ideas cannot be toned down for the insane.” - Penn Jillette

Hey, Guffaw…we need to celebrate multi-culturalism. I have no objection to diversity – and you shouldn't either:There is no need to object to Federal, Winchester, Remington, Hornady, and all the other fine cultural groups co-existing in sweet harmony.Q

Posted by Guffaw in AZ | September 19, 2011, 9:00 amI am a Muslim, and I like to think of my self as an educated, well-balanced one. I haven't read the article, but I am going to go on what I see from the picture posted above
I feel that both parties, the Muslims and the Non-Muslims are to blame. They are both have extremes in their cultures, values and traditions. This certainly does not mean that they cannot find common ground and live in peace. What is happening in the world is that millions are suffering, on both sides, because of a few. Muslims tend to be portrayed as savages, who keep their women locked in cages, don't allow for growth and development and pray to a harsh and severe God. Whereas Non-Muslims are shown to be an immoral nation, without any values, are consequently are considered no better than savages either
Both perceptions are wrong, but there are people who are letting this discord carry on for their own means.
Posted by Smokey_Cat | September 22, 2011, 10:30 pm@Smokey_Cat – Thank you for reading and commenting!Speaking only for myself, as a non-Muslim American, it does appear that a radical, violent faction has compromised the Islamic Religion. At least in the public eye. Much as the progressive, Fabian socialists have compromised traditional liberalism. And sadly, they appear as the 'public face'. Where are folks such as yourself, speaking out against this wrong perception? Or is that simply too dangerous because of the radicals?gfa
Posted by Guffaw in AZ | September 23, 2011, 5:27 amI believe that the media all around the world is infiltrated with those trying to create discord between the east and the west.If this continues, things will sadly go from bad to worse
People on both sides need to see that almost nothing in this world is simple black or white but has many shades or gray
