Maddened Fowl links to a Fox News report that more and more people are buying firearms, as the public perception is either the President will win re-election, and push forward his anti-gun agenda, or Tweedle-dee/dum will win the election, and not be pro-gun, regardless.
I do find it interesting the photo Fox News chose was the AR-15 armed man at an anti-Obama rally.

OTOH, as a free citizen, I see two ways to interpret the news that Sturm, Ruger & Company has such a backlog of orders:
1. More citizens want to bear arms, either as part of their civic duty or (more likely) to protect themselves, their families and their property. YAY US!
2. More citizens expect an increased push from the White House after the November elections to restrict firearm ownership, so they’re buying them now. BOO GUN-GRABBERS!
