This election is not about who gets voted off the island.
It’s about who is at the tiller of this Republic’s Ship of State. - Guffaw

The Four Rules
1. ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED.
2. NEVER POINT YOUR MUZZLE AT SOMETHING YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DESTROY.
3. KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET AND YOU ARE READY TO SHOOT.
4. KNOW YOUR TARGET AND WHAT'S BEYOND.
FEAR
"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."
- Bene Gesserit, from Frank Herbert's Dune
Penn Jillette
“F**k Civility. Hyperbole, passion, and metaphor are beautiful parts of rhetoric. The marketplace of ideas cannot be toned down for the insane.” - Penn Jillette

And, the popular meme is ostriches (and the general public) keep their heads in the sand…
Posted by guffaw1952 | May 5, 2012, 8:25 amObscure US Army training area, Pinon Canyon, in Southern Colorado, has a complete FEMA concentration camp back away from public view. Just a few miles West of the WWII Japanese Interment camp at Granada, CO. Also known as the Amache camp. Curious minds wonder why?
Think this is b.s.? Ask any Ft Carson soldier who has trained there. Easy to spot, just look for the 4th Infrantry Division (Ivy) patch. They might not talk, OPSEC.

Posted by guffaw1952 | May 7, 2012, 6:38 amWhat a load. There is nothing here that one would not have seen 20-50 years ago other than being updated. Most countries have such contingency plans. And it is not secret despite the hype, although there is a revised version.
Posted by Annette Kohlout | May 14, 2012, 5:17 pmThe United States is not supposed to be like ‘most countries’. We are alleged to be the exception, and I believe making this kind of contingency plan, secret or not, is adverse to what is American.
