A Girl and Her Gun knocks it out of the park, again.
(and I loathe sports metaphors!)
While there is much content ( and you should go and read it at the link!) a couple items jumped out at me.
A couple items:
II- THOU SHALT NOT DEFEAT THYSELF
Dan Millman wrote, “When faced with just one opponent and you oppose yourself… you’re outnumbered.” “What if I lose” is not a part of my thinking, ever. ( – A Girl )
Commandment IV has become my mantra.
Thou Shall Not Fear Fear…
Those of you who follow my blog know that I have fear ‘issues’. Not the same as A Girl, but Fear, nevertheless. It’s one reason I have this quotation on my sidebar:
“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.” – Bene Gesserit, from Frank Herbert’s Dune
A Girl continues to address her own issues with aplomb, and share her experiences.
How many of you guys are doing that?
