Permissive Parents: Curb your brats!

LeeAnn of  Look! A Baby Wolf! (link) has a great link to a CNN article regarding small children run amok.
In short:  The rest of the World should not have to pay for your permissiveness.  And, it damages society to allow certain behavior.
Personally, I don’t think beating a child to death is the answer (neither does the author of the article), but allowing children free reign doesn’t cut it.
Let’s bring back mutual respect.

  1. That is the perfect picture to illustrate it with!

  2. The Mrs and I use this phrase:Control your monkeys! We've been known to out and out shout it at parents that should never have had kids.My brilliant friend Maura made note that couples and single mothers should not think about offspring as "having a baby" (a lot of them can be cute and fun to hold). Having a baby can feel like a positive thing. Instead deciding to have offspring should be thought of as "forever being a parent" with sh!tty diaper changes, 2 AM feedings, worrying about them 24/7. If you can face that – have a kid. If you just want the fun stuff without WANTING the responsibility – buy a f'ing Care Bear.

  3. Casey Anthony found not guilty. Good. Now she can party and get laid and stuff. She is on TV laughing and smiling. Probably forgot completely about her little inconvenience.

  4. One of the many things I like about my Daughter in law is the way she controls their kids when my son isn't around.
