The Libertine Party

I’m a pretty liberal guy.  In the classical sense, not the liberal = progressive = socialist = communist sense.  As a libertarian, I think adults should be able to make their own lives; their own decisions…

As long as doing so doesn’t affect others, negatively.

You wanna smoke weed?  In your own home?  As long as it doesn’t waft into my back yard, it’s okay with me. You want to marry three other adults?  Change your State law and have at it.  Just remember how complex (and costly) the divorcing of two of them will be!

But, I draw the line at abusing children.  Yes, you should be able to raise your children as you see fit, and perhaps one or two smacks on the bottom to get their attention might be necessary.  When they are four.  But, not when they’re 18, or nude, or with the use of a studded belt.  That’s beyond the pale, for me.

Speaking of abusing children:

PS – Why does NAMBLA still exist?  The North American Man Boy Love Association promotes sexually abusing children.  Why hasn’t your government used RICO to shut them down and absorb their funds? And imprison the miscreants.  Certainly a continuing criminal enterprise?

  1. I couldn’t agree more: it should be shut down by RICO et al, NOW, before anyone else is hurt in any fashion.

  2. In total agreement with the “If it doesn’t hurt anyone, go ahead” sentiment.
Lots ‘o luck to NAMBLA getting someone even *remotely* normal to accept pedophilia.

If the adult in the, “someone has to be the adult in this situation” is you, better include prison rape and murder in the desired outcome plans. Prison populations are not very “enlightened” in accepting pedophiles. Even drug dealing murderers have their standards.

Maybe they gave a huge campaign contribution to Glorious Leader. Seems that leads to a 50% reduction in prosecutions from DOJ.

  3. NAMBLA? I would assume they don’t get prosecuted because to many of their members/supporters/fellow travelers are members of the political, corporate, media and academic (penn state?) elite for them to be prosecuted. What they promote is illegal in all 50 states and most modern countries, so someone is protecting them.

Not sure how pedophiles are treated in other states. In AZ they have a special unit at Florence to keep them segregated from genereal pop. If there aren’t any spaces open in that unit they are often held at lower security state prisons or at county lock ups until they can be moved. The whole goal of the state in doing this is to keep them from being killed by the other inmates. It isn’t a matter of mercy, it is because the state does not want the hassle of wrongful death lawsuits from surviving family members.

  5. Washington State mid 1990’s, knew a man who was president of the local chapter of the Dorian Society (may have disbanded later). He, and the other members, loathed NAMBLA and refused help or support to any pedophile of any stripe. +1 Rev. Paul and others.
