Auld Lang Syne

Tonight is New Year’s Eve!  (for those who just crawled out from under a rock where there was no Wi-Fi.)

The traditional celebration of the passing of the previous year, and the birth of the new.  Along with fond remembrance of times past.  This usually involves food and sometimes libations.

Please be careful out there, and if you drink, don’t drive (or text or phone!)  And watch out for those who have.

And take a moment to remember those who are no longer with you.  And love those who remain.

Because you never know…

  2. We had an invite to a party but are staying home. This is one night I don’t wish to be driving. I hope you have a quiet evening to relax and enjoy.

  3. Goodbye 2013. You were underwhelming.
Looking back, the only thing I could call a highlight was I shot in the high 70s on a couple of valley golf courses and picked up a Glock 19. Good thing my ammo hoard from years ago was still lying around.
Now I gotta change the batteries in the smoke detectors, EoTech, safe locks, etc., etc.

Happy New Year Guff, and good tidings in ’14!

  4. 2013 was generally what one friend would call a “sucky” year. Next year’s bound to be better, right?
Oh, never mind. 😉 Anyway, my blogroll is updating only sporadically & I find that I’ve missed several of your posts.

Sorry ’bout that, and have a wonderful ’14 anyway!
