Poverty & Immigration

This is a terrific, succinct analysis of poverty and immigration.  My only dispute with the presenter his conclusion. (click below)

Can immigration help other countries?   You will be surprised!!

If he suggested we need to begin FIRST with the disenfranchised in our own country, the United States, then I would completely agree with him.

  1. Today it seems someone can be labeled as disenfranchised by perceiving hurt – whether that hurt was real and palpable or that person just had a bad case of “Poor, Poor, Pitiful Me” butthurt.
I’m all for giving tools to those that want to use them to build up their lives. Cash is usually what the .gov thinks will solve all problems.
Trouble is, they don’t have any that they didn’t take from someone else at threatened gunpoint.

  2. Concur with both KM and your response… Cash does NOT solve the problem…
