If Nanny Bloomberg Says Only Minorities Should Have Arms, Is That Reverse Racism?

Or simply Affirmative Action?

Bloomberg said that we should restrict guns to minorities. Then, he asked everyone not to release any video and they complied. But here’s the audio.  (SayUncle)

  1. Technically, it would be more like just racism, or maybe race favoritism, the effect being the same in either case–dividing goods, services, or privileges along racial lines. The best term might more closely approximate political correctness run amok or sheer stupidity.

“Reverse racism” is a nonsensical term, and its use tends to cloud the issue. Just as sexism can be prejudiced discrimination against males or transexuals, as well as females, so racism applies against any race or ethnicity. Even classism can apply to the lower-class warrior’s anti-rich people viewpoint.

Essentially, context is key. Depending on the context, anyone can be a minority or the underclass person of a group.

But yeah, Bloomberg’s just dumb and needs to go away. He and Chuck Schumer, Mr. Ban-Everything-in-Sight.
