  1. According to one of the Glock armorers I talked to, it was simply to actually have documented evidence that the guns were being sold at blue label prices to actual qualified people.

    • Perhaps that is true. But demanding such information, as opposed to just having the dealer certify they were qualified people might have been a better approach. Certainly less intrusive and AMERICAN!

      • It also has to do with write downs on sales. Apparently the IRS was involved, but I don’t know the whole story…
