Pope Ditched Two Refugees Once He Found Out They Were Christians
Via David
One of the most appalling aspects of the current refugee crisis is that persecuted Christian across the Middle East are being completely ignored in favor of Muslim migrants. And when even the world’s most prominent Christian figurehead does nothing to help, but instead worships at the altar of multiculturalism and its “new world order,” what hope is there for Middle East Christians fleeing genocide?
A disturbing report claims that when Pope Francis found out that two of the 12 Muslim refugees he recently planned to take back to the Vatican turned out to be Christians, he “dropped them like a hot potato.”
Roula and Malek Abo, a Christian brother and sister duo who hail from Syria, say they have been “let down” by the Pope after left them behind at a Lesbos refugee camp. They were promised a new life in Italy. According to blogger Geoffrey Grider:

The “render unto Caesar” remark was about paying taxes, but enough of that. This particular Pope, with due apologies to any tender sensibilities of other readers, seems not to be a Christian at all, unless it suits him. He seems to have mastered Bill Clinton’s situational ethics policy.
You would know better than I, regarding things Biblical.
Your last line wins the Internets!
Sadly.
You seem to have an inaccurate understanding of papal infallibility.
I’ve reached the point where I don’t trust a thing the media says about any pope. They are no more honest in that reporting than in anything else. I watched them portray one of the holiest and best archbishops who ever served, who was a primary influence in my conversion and whom I actually knew, as something like a monster. If I can’t sit down and read the official translation in context of anything a pope says I just remind myself that 1) the media lies and 2) we have survived the likes of the Borgias and will continue to do so.
Francis comes out of socialism. Like many good people, he seems to sometimes respond according to feelings rather than fact. He’s neither the philosopher John Paul II was nor the theologian Benedict XVI is. And like all heads of state or large organizations he is surrounded by advisors, some of whom may be bad. Possibly very, very bad, if rumors be true. Power can corrupt even at the lowest levels.
I seriously doubt that Francis dropped Christians out of the group deliberately, particularly since he has been invieghing against the genocide against Christians pretty regularly. More likely, as has been reported elsewhere, there was fubar at the release end and the family was stopped from leaving because of that.
And, no, Pius XII wasn’t Hitler’s Pope, either.
Thank you for your well thought out response!
Yeah, I don’t have the best knowledge of The Papacy…
And your point regarding media spin is right on.
I’ll defer to you regarding Papal history.
I was willing to believe the story as I’m not fond of the current Pope’s socialist pronouncements.
Thank you for your input, as always.

That is beyond the pale, especially for the Pope!
As was remarked below, if indeed it is true…
