Fourth Chemo

Well, here I am on the down side of chemo #4.

I expect to be done in about 4 hours. (Saturday, February 10)

No ill affects except tiredness! Thus far.

My ex-wife, who is a good friend, found a transportation service, for use in the short-term. Wheelchair room to room service, at a cost.

Then, it’s back to the daily grind of the private care home.

  1. Have you talked to the American Cancer Society? I understand that they can provide transportation. At least they used to.

  2. I’m glad to hear you’ve finished this round of treatments. I pray it’s the final round.

  4. Good to hear you’re done with this (since the comments are way more than the four hours ago you said). My wife and I used to say, “boring is good” when she was getting chemo (over 20 years ago!).

  5. Chemo’s a bitch. But you can survive. It’s endurance, not a battle – a battle’s over quickly.
Don’t let it get you down and keep us posted when you can. As SiG points out, boring is good.
Best wishes and hope to see you back soon.
