We Should Learn From WHO? France?!

(from Free North Carolina)

France’s Death Spiral

Via Frank

  • In 1990, the “Gayssot law” was passed, stipulating that “any discrimination based on ethnicity, nation, race or religion is prohibited”. Since then, it has been used to criminalize any criticism of Arab and African delinquency, any question on immigration from the Muslim world, any negative analysis of Islam. Many writers have been fined and most “politically incorrect” books on those topics have disappeared from bookshops.
  • The French government asked the media to obey the “Gayssot law.” It also asked that history textbooks be rewritten to include chapters on the crimes committed by the West against Muslims, and on the “essential contribution” of Islam to humanity. All history textbooks are “Islamically correct.”
  • In hospitals, Muslims are increasingly asking to be treated only by Muslim doctors, and refusing to let their wives be treated by male doctors.

February 2, 2017: A “no-go zone” in the eastern suburbs of Paris. Police on patrol hear screams. They decide to check. While there, a young man insults them. They decide to arrest him. He hits them. A fight starts. He accuses a policeman of having raped him with a police baton. A police investigation quickly establishes that the young man was not raped. But it is too late; a toxic process has begun.

Political correctness is killing Europe, literally!
AND, it will kill the United States.

BREAKING: HK Releases SFP9 L, SFP9 SK, Maritime and Optics Ready Pistols

sfp

Heckler and Koch has just announced a few additions to their polymer pistol lineup. Known as the VP9 in the United States and SFP9 in Europe, H&K is adding the much awaited long slide SFP9 L and compact SFP9 SK variants to the current SFP9/VP9 offerings. Digging a little deeper, you’ll find a Maritime model as well as an Optics Ready model.

A few interesting features: One, there’s an option for either a push button or paddle magazine release. Two, optional 20 round magazines. Three, an optional manual safety lever.

Obviously we need to dig deeper into the specifications for other hidden gems. But the announcement will obviously elate H&K fans everywhere.

(the article here)

Is this a tempest in a teapot?  Does this appeal to the civilian market?  Is it even available to the civilian market?  And, most importantly:

They are H & K pistols, not known for their customer service.  Do we really want specialty firearms we cannot get repaired, should they need it?

“Why are they making these?  To sell, of course!” (Jeff Cooper)

Czech Gov’t: Placing Weapons In The Hands Of Citizens Is Best Defense Against Terror

Berlin (CNSNews.com) – The Czech Republic has resisted calls by the European Union’s executive Commission to tighten gun controls in response to terror attacks, forcing the E.C. to alter its proposals, allowing for the private ownership of semi-automatic weapons.

The Czech interior ministry now wants to loosen its own laws a step further, proposing a constitutional amendment on Monday that would allow its citizens to bear legally-held firearms against the perpetrators of terrorist attacks, such as those in Nice or Berlin, the Czech news agency ctk reported.

The government says that putting weapons into the hands of citizens is the best defense against terror.

The move comes despite the European Commission’s ongoing advocacy for stricter gun control laws in Europe.

The Czech parliament blocked the E.C.’s earlier attempt to introduce tighter European gun laws, after the attack in Nice.

While the E.U. Firearms Directive and Czech laws already prohibited private ownership of fully automatic weapons, the commission’s initial campaign aimed to further narrow the E.U. regulations to rule out semi-automatic and self-loading weapons – which make up about half of firearm ownership in the Czech Republic – and limit magazine sizes to ten rounds.

The Czech parliament rejected the proposal, arguing that such tougher gun laws would not be the solution as terror attackers only use illegally-held weapons. The government derided the E.C.’s plans as “legally ambiguous and in some cases excessive.”

The E.C. was last month finally able to reach agreement by all member states, including the Czechs, after allowing exceptions for hunters and gun collectors and only banning a select few semi-automatic weapons.

“Mass shootings and terrorist attacks in Europe have highlighted the dangers posed by certain firearms circulating across the E.U.,” it said in a statement, but also expressed regret at the concessions it had to make, such as not banning all semi-automatic weapons or limiting magazines to ten rounds.

Despite the E.U.’s concerns, the latest Czech proposal argues that armed citizens would be the best defense against terror attacks.

In a statement on Monday, Interior Minister Milan Chovanec said that amending the constitution would reduce the chances of attacks by enabling “active and rapid defense.”

Citizens should be given the right to use firearms to defend their “life, health and property” and contribute to “ensuring the internal order, security and territorial integrity” of the country, he said.

As December’s truck attack in Berlin demonstrated, security forces have not been able to guarantee the full prevention of attacks. In light of the threat, the Czech ministry argued that the proposed amendment would help to prevent the loss of lives by allowing civilians to contribute to “internal order and security.”

The proposal is scheduled to be considered in March. To pass, it must be agreed upon by at least three-fifths of all deputies and three-fifths of all senators present.

The exact details of the interior ministry’s proposal are still to be worked out, and for now simply indicates that it is subject to “terms and details prescribed by law.”

However, it appears likely to expand the range of “genuine reasons” for possession of a firearm to include those of “national security” – and thus, theoretically, allow anyone to own a gun.

Gun ownership is currently legal in the Czech Republic. As per E.U. regulations, firearms are required to be registered, and Czech law also requires a license and a genuine reason to possess a firearm, such as for hunting or personal protection.

Gun holders are also required to pass a background check which considers factors such as mental health and criminal history.

Unlike gun ownership, there are no laws explicitly covering civilian use of a firearm in self-defense, nor in regards to terror attacks specifically. Such an incident would fall under general criminal provisions regarding self-defense, which may allow the use of a gun, but only in cases of absolute necessity (including the threat of “imminent” attack).

Self-defense case law in the Czech Republic has applied only to violent assaults such as rape and robberies, and not to terrorism. It is not clear yet how the constitutional amendment would, if at all, build on or deviate from this established law.

The country was shaken by a mass shooting in 2015, when 63-year-old Zdenk Ková fired on a group of 20 people, killing 8. Ková, had a gun holder’s license despite a history of misdemeanors and concerns over his mental state.

The incident prompted calls for a re-examination of Czech gun laws, but they are still considered among the most lax in the E.U., partly due to the fact semi-automatic weapon possession is allowed.

According to data collated by Gunpolicy.org, a firearm injury prevention NGO, an estimated 7.6 percent of Czech’s 10 million residents legally hold weapons, with 810,046 registered privately owned firearms in the country.

Perhaps the Czechs have a longer memory than most Europeans?.  Nazis?  Communists?  Other forms of terror?

Of course, the French and most of the E.U. just doubled-down on restrictions for their citizenry subjects.  Wanna bet the next European attack will be in another ‘gun-free’ zone?

♫ Everything That’s Old Is New Again ♫ (in Eurotrashistan)

(from Peter – in full, because it’s too important)

A brave new world indeed!

Courtesy of a link at Borepatch’s place, we learn that Belgium is now euthanizing – i.e. judicially murdering – the mentally ill and incompetent.  The Washington Post reports:

Once prohibited — indeed, unthinkable — the euthanasia of people with mental illnesses or cognitive disorders, including dementia, is now a common occurrence in Belgium and the Netherlands.

This profoundly troubling fact of modern European life is confirmed by the latest biennial report from Belgium’s Federal Commission on the Control and Evaluation of Euthanasia, presented to Parliament on Oct. 7.

Belgium legalized euthanasia in 2002 for patients suffering “unbearably” from any “untreatable” medical condition, terminal or non-terminal, including psychiatric ones.

. . .

In December, 65 Belgian mental-health professionals, ethicists and physicians published a call to ban euthanasia of the mentally ill.

Seemingly stung by these criticisms, the commission spends two of its report’s pages defending the system, explaining that all is well and that no one is being euthanized except in strict accordance with the law.

. . .

Of course, this ignores the essential objection, which is that, by definition, the mentally ill may be less capable of forming a “true will,” or, at least, that their intentions are intrinsically more difficult for a doctor — or anyone — to establish with the necessary certainty upon which to base a life-or-death decision.

. . .

Euthanasia of people with autism, depression, schizophrenia and dementia in the Low Countries represents a global moral crisis for psychiatry, and all of medicine, that can no longer be ignored.

There’s more at the link.  As Borepatch points out, there are also reports that organs are being harvested from the bodies of euthanized patients.  This makes it increasingly likely, in a world without meaningful morals or ethics, that someone might be nominated for involuntary euthanasia purely on the grounds of how many others can benefit from his or her organs.

I have no hesitation in calling this absolutely Satanic in its evil.  Those who, by definition, have diminished rational capacity cannot give fully informed consent to such a procedure.  It’s as plain as the nose on your face that someone is encouraging them, persuading them to make that decision . . . perhaps even making it for them.  After all, it’s convenient for the health care system to be relieved of the burden of caring for the mentally incapacitated.  If they’re euthanized, the costs and facilities that would otherwise be devoted to their care can be used instead for someone more ‘deserving’ – or not used at all, thereby saving money for the state.  How utilitarian can you get?

We’re seeing the beginnings of the same thing in this country, too.  Just last month, a woman in California reported that her medical insurance had refused to pay for expensive chemotherapy to treat her cancer . . . but it was quite prepared to pay for euthanasia, if she selected that option!  That’s not the first time this has happened.  The first case of which I’m aware was in Oregon in 2008.  Think about what those insurers are saying to their policy-holders, in so many words.  “You’re not worth this much of our money, but you’re worth that much . . . if you let us kill you.”  Charming, isn’t it?

This was predicted back in the 1960’s by Pope Paul VI in his controversial encyclical letter Humanae Vitae.  The full text is available online, but in brief:

Pope Paul [warned] that … the desire for unlimited dominion over one’s own body extends beyond contraception. The production of “test-tube babies” is another indication of the refusal to accept the body’s limitations; so too are euthanasia and the use of organs transplanted from those who are “nearly” dead. We seek to adjust the body to our desires and timetables, rather than adjusting ourselves to its needs.

Many disagree with the teaching of Pope Paul VI, and the Catholic Church, about artificial contraception:  but I think there’s little doubt that this was a prescient warning.  We’re seeing it in operation in the euthanasia policies of the Low Countries.  Nature is no longer allowed to take its course;  it’s ‘helped along’, willy-nilly.

Think about this from your own perspective as you grow older.  I’m very familiar with this, after years as a pastor, so I can put myself into the shoes of a patient fairly easily.  You begin to lose your ability to concentrate . . . you can’t remember things that happened fairly recently . . . you may not recognize people you’ve known for years.

One day, a doctor you hardly know starts talking to you about ‘medical options’ and ‘procedures’ and your ‘right’ to be free from pain, fear and worry, and he pressures you to sign ‘just a simple form’ for ‘further treatment’.  One month later, he sticks a needle in your arm, and you ‘fade to black’.

Your organs are harvested for distribution to others (at a fat profit to the hospital, but none to your estate), and your relatives divide your money and possessions between them.  Most of them probably won’t bother to come to your funeral.  They’ll be too busy fighting over the spoils.

Welcome to our brave new world.

Insane World: Feminists Defend Migrant Rapists, Attack White Knights

Via comment by Quartermain  on Clinton’s Censorship Tactics Aren’t Working Agains…

Barbro Sörman, a feminist politician said rapes aren't that bad when non-Western men do them
Barbro Sörman, a feminist politician said rapes aren’t that bad when non-Western men do them

In yet another strange twisting of logic, Swedish feminists say they would rather be raped by migrants and refugees rather than saved from rape by local men. They also say rape is worse when Swedish men do it rather than when the immigrants they love so much do it. What a strange, socially engineered world we have entered in the 21st century.

Earlier this year, when around 200 Swedish White Knights attacked rape-fugees to defend Swedish women, these girls spun up a really neat collective hamster rationalization and attacked the men who were defending their honor instead of rapists. Here’s what they did:

Feminists created the hashtag #inteerkvinna (translated as #notyourwoman) where they spewed their hatred over racism, fascism, white men and many other things that can be loosely tied to the events with some cognitive dissonance. In short, they made a collective tantrum on social media over the fact that white European men are standing up to the rape-fugees.

It has been said women invite, men invade. Call it a societal shit test in which women have evolved psychological and sociological behaviors that test to see which group of men has the stronger seed, the invaders or the locals. So far, the invaders are winning and will be the ones women increasingly support and breed with, as they continue to select for brutes instead of nice boys.

The feminists even went so far as to say “It’s YOU I’m afraid of” to Swedish men, the same men who are unbelievably the descendants of Vikings now completely de-balled by their own government. A Swedish feminist politician named Barbro Sörman said it’s “worse” when Swedish men rape than when the wonderful refugees do it:

Seriously?
I think inclusion and political correctness have finally reached critical mass.  Sexual assault by someone using their religion as motivation is preferable to being saved from said assault by your own countrymen.

Say WHAT Now?!

NICE

What more can be said regarding the terrorist attack in the South of France?  What do we know?  A Tunisian emigre, armed with one pistol, two fake assault rifles.  And a fake grenade.  And a truck.  Chose to use the 19 ton refrigerated truck as an ‘assault vehicle’.

84 dead, another 202 injured.

And while he didn’t use either the real or fake weaponry, in largely gun-prohibited France, it took the usual solution – a call to the men with guns to stop the terrorist.

ISIS claimed responsibility.

I see two solutions here.  One short term, and a second longer.

  1. Allow the French citizenry to arm themselves.
  2. Severely restrict or cease entirely immigration from Muslim countries.  And deport those already in country who have not been carefully vetted.

AND, promote doing the same in all other nations, including the United States!

Before it is too late.

Of course, this will never happen.  Especially here, where illegal aliens make up as much as 33% of the service industry work force.

I heard on the ‘news’ the other night that one-half of one percent (0.5%) of Islamic folk are estimated to be radicalizedThis translates to one million people World-wide!

Imagine if this were a regular army?

Instead, they are agents-provocateurs (agents of change – outside agitators in the very least)!  Community Organizers?

Saboteurs and terrorists.

Free people need to be able to defend themselves.  Period.

Two folks are sitting adjacent in a jumbo jet, flying over the South of France.

Thoughts From The Front

Bullets are cheaper and more effective than tear gas canisters.

Bullets and bombs are merely war’s last recourse. The actual front of most conflicts occurs in the vacuum between men’s ears. One gains a deep appreciation of this fact when watching the rapid social effects that result from orchestrated media onslaughts. The images and narratives carpet bombed daily into mentally defenseless targets demonstrate the undeniable power of air superiority.

And when spiritual fortifications have been flattened, antagonists put boots on the ground. That’s what’s happening now in unmoated areas of the West. But eventually even the dullest clucks begin to understand that virtue signaling on migration is subject to the law of diminishing returns. Conspicuously accommodating 100 brown people is a boast, while 100 million is a eulogy. And most prefer their praise served warm.

So what we are seeing presently in Europe is a people slowly realizing their moral vainglory is best taken in moderation. Unfortunately for them, that doesn’t much address the designs of a billion or so global refugees fleeing the war in Syria. You don’t simply lock the door after other people have decided they want in.

For once a large enough number of outsiders determine your house is precisely what they want, seeking your permission loses much of its appeal. That’s when fences start falling, tear gas starts wafting, and it dimly begins to dawn that invasion doesn’t require the Red Army.

Here’s one piece on the siege of Indomeni.

This is on the frontiers of Europe.  (Not to mention the chaos already inside London, Paris and Germany)
And the current American administration has essentially told the Border Patrol to stand down.  And has cut their numbers and budget.
Is this the future image on our borders?
No, of course not.
We are already looking the other way…

Cultural Appropriation

(borrowed, with gratitude from Counting Cats in Zanzibar, in part)

From the Fairfax womens pages:

Namaste is my way of greeting Hindi speaking elders in my hometown Melbourne or a way of saying hello to most people back in India. But hearing namaste chanted by the white yoga instructor to a predominantly white class was unsettling. Really? If the yoga class itself wasn’t white-centric enough, she really had to place the appropriative cherry on top.”

An Indian immigrant in Australia, clearly speaks English, and presumably uses machine woven artificial fibres, electronics, communications equipment and modern transport.

What truly fascinates me about her, and her ilk, is the apparent complete absence of introspection. No evidence she has any concept of how self absorbed, ignorant, irrational, racist or xenophobic this article shows her to be – she uses ‘white’ thirteen times, making it clear skin colour is important to her.

I thought, in a multicultural society, we were supposed to learn from one another. What possible value would such learning be if we are not permitted to make use of anything we do absorb? (…)

(and from the commentary, in part)

Nope. We shouldn’t worry about it ourselves as this is essentially a variation of cultural Marxism in the mold of “White Guilt“.

What we should do is call out left-wing fascists who make such accusations (either direct or indirect) for what they are, race baiters, no better than Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the like.

Aspects of cultural identity, whether in relation to the food we eat, the clothes we wear our the style of hair we prefer are not bound in stone but quite the opposite, being both dynamic and to a certain extent contagious. (…)

JG,

The point about multiculturalism is that the multikultis object to blending. They seek to maintain separate cultural identities for different groups and encourage tribalisation of the broader society. The aim is not diversity, but division, and that is what this loon here is encouraging. Her cry is “yoga for the Hindus”.

Multiculturalism is a socially poisonous doctrine which maintains and emphasizes division, and which destroys social cohesion. Far better to promote mutual assimilation. Emphasize commonalities, not differences.

AMEN, Brother!

And here in the Colonies, we are continually being told that being White is bad, that being Educated (in the White-man’s way) is bad and that even being an industrialized American is bad!

Because multiculturalism is the Truth and the Light, as is being a Luddite agricultural commune member who decries GMOs and global warming as evils of industrial society.

Oh!  And no vaccines, either!  Or meat. (it’s murder, ya know).

I see all of this as a distillation of Jean Jacques Rousseau’s love of primitives, to the exclusion of the civilized.  (We see this in the veneration of American Indians as somehow more pure that the Eurotrash who conquered them.)

If only we would shed our clothes, and our machines, and return to Nature, all would be wonderful!

Ah! Paradise!

“…[N]othing is so gentle as man in his primitive state, when placed by nature at an equal distance from the stupidity of brutes and the fatal enlightenment of civil man”.

The Panama Papers

(As stolen borrowed from Counting Cats in Zanzibar)

The Panama Papers - Mossack Fonseca

The Panama Papers are an unprecedented leak of 11.5m files from the database of the world’s fourth biggest offshore law firm, Mossack Fonseca. The records were obtained from an anonymous source by the German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung, which shared them with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ). The ICIJ then shared them with a large network of international partners, including the Guardian and the BBC.

What do they reveal?
The documents show the myriad ways in which the rich can exploit secretive offshore tax regimes. Twelve national leaders are among 143 politicians, their families and close associates from around the world known to have been using offshore tax havens.

A $2bn trail leads all the way to Vladimir Putin. The Russian president’s best friend – a cellist called Sergei Roldugin – is at the centre of a scheme in which money from Russian state banks is hidden offshore. Some of it ends up in a ski resort where in 2013 Putin’s daughter Katerina got married.

Among national leaders with offshore wealth are Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan’s prime minister; Ayad Allawi, ex-interim prime minister and former vice-president of Iraq; Petro Poroshenko, president of Ukraine; Alaa Mubarak, son of Egypt’s former president; and the prime minister of Iceland, Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson.

An offshore investment fund run by the father of British prime minister David Cameron avoided ever having to pay tax in Britain by hiring a small army of Bahamas residents to sign its paperwork. The fund has been registered with HM Revenue and Customs since its inception and has filed detailed tax returns every year.

The Grauniad – What are the Panama papers?

As a libertarian and someone who believes that all tax is theft, I have some measure of sympathy and indeed support for those who go to extraordinary lengths to avoid taxation and government meddling in the private affairs of citizens, for example Facebook’s Eduardo Saverin who paid a 15% exit tax on his US assets to expatriate to Singapore in 2011.

Those who are unworthy of such libertarian acclaim are those who use illegal means to hide wealth arising from bribery and corruption or who enforce taxation on the little people, but evade it themselves.  (Agree – Guffaw)

Traditionally, this has been 3rd world dictators or the governors of oil rich provinces in Nigeria and such places who essentially steal the wealth of their own populace / electorate. So it was not surprising to find these “usual suspects” in the Panama papers.

Even Vladimir Putin is not someone that I am particularly surprised at given that he has ruled Russia as President and proxy for nearly 20 years.

The sorts of names that you don’t expect are the legislators of modern Western countries such as Iceland’s PM (but not I suspect for long), Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson. Bastards like this who illustrate Leona Helmsley’s view that “We don’t pay taxes. Only the little people pay taxes”* should face the full force of the law.

[EDIT: and as predicted, less than a day later he’s quit]

For UK politicians and business leaders, it is not just tax evasion that the Panama papers might reveal, but also crimes committed under the Bribery Act 2010 and earlier criminal statutes. For example, those cosy little 3rd world arms deals so recently brought to life in the BBC’s adaptation of John Le Carre’s “The Night Manager”.

I suspect that quite a few of the worlds elite will be having sleepless nights over the revelations and since the papers go back 40-years, I expect we will be pissing on the graves of quite a few ex politicians and members of the elite as well. GOOD!

* – Leona Helmsley disputes that she ever said this.

Why should we as Americans care?

Is this just the tip of the iceberg?  Or has malfeasance at the highest level of someone other than Americans made the papers for a change?

Interesting that in the list of those nations investigating this matter the United States is absent*

They are NOT ‘migrants’. They are NOT ‘refugees’. They are NOT ‘immigrants’. They are NOT ‘asylum seekers’. THEY ARE FERAL, 7th CENTURY, TRIBAL muslim INVADERS. They will not assimilate, and are coming to take over your countries, your way of life, and kill you. The flood of rapists, mutilators, molesters and murderers is just beginning. It will get many times worse this year. The murderous islamic caliphate, and its subhuman, lowlife tribal muslim trash, are on the move, worldwide. Wake-up Europe, Greece & America!

Last Tuesday (March 15) was a Hungarian national holiday: the commemoration of Hungary’s independence from the Austrian Empire. Prime Minister Viktor Orbán gave a speech in the rain that day, electrifying his compatriots in the audience — and anyone else who is permitted to hear or read a translation of the speech that has not been filtered, redacted, or expurgated by the legacy media.

His words were tougher even than those spoken by Geert Wilders. However, when Mr. Wilders becomes prime minister of the Netherlands, perhaps he will say something similar in his first address to the nation. He, too, may well proclaim his determination to resist the multicultural regime that has been imposed upon his country by the iron fist of the European Union.

"Round up the usual suspects."
