Another (how many in the Administration?) to go!

Attorney General Eric Holder will announce later today his plans to step down, FoxNews.com has confirmed.
One hopes he steps down into a courtroom preparatory to his trial, but I doubt it!

  1. He is stepping down now so President Obama will have plenty of time to pardon him if need be. I don’t think he is in any actual danger of criminal charges, who would charge him? Even if the house and senate are controlled by Republicans they don’t have the courage to do any more than issue sternly worded letters and anguished sound bites.

  2. He may get pardoned, but most people won’t forget. Besides, pardoning him will be tantamount to admitting that everything the DOJ has done, under his watch, is/was illegal. Of course, no one will bother reporting THAT – it’d be too much like reporting…

  3. Poor Eric dutifully fell on his sword and is forever banished to public speaking @ $200k a pop. (plus expenses)
    Or maybe he goes on to fundraising for the Ds and has to suffer the embarrassments of private jets, lavish dinners, limos, 5 star hotels and shaking hands with wads of cash in them.
    Almost brings a tear to the eye but I think I’ll CELEBRATE!! instead. Another one bites the dust w/o any fear of reprisal for their dishonesty.
